Trustco Group partners with Media Ombudsman in 2024 Elections Media Monitoring Project
The office of the Media Ombudsman is pleased to announce that Trustco Group has partnered with this office to support the 2024 Presidential and National Assembly Elections Media Monitoring Project.
Trustco will contribute a total N$174,000 (One hundred and seventy-four thousand Namibia Dollars) towards the project.
The Trustco financial support will be directed to crafting a Guidance Note on Election Reporting to supplement the Code of Ethics and Conduct for the Namibian Print, Broadcast and Online Media. Other costs to be covered are the design and execution of a visibility plan, and the overall budget shortfall of the media monitoring project.
The office of the Media Ombudsman wishes to express its deep gratitude to Trustco Group International for its financial support. This contribution provides tremendous moral support for our mission. Even more significantly, of course, this contribution allows us to wholly operationalise all the planned activities under this project.
